This may be kind of a noob question.. but what is the Clean Output jack for?

Hi,

you can send a clean signal to another amp(ie no distortion from H&D boost)....I use it to have two amps on...as I like to blend a slightly driven Vox combo   with me Marshall....you kind of get a good blend etc...distorted and slightly broken up clean.....adds alot of depth to tone also....

So basically just use the output to link to another amp...works a treat....
