Topic: Joe's Gigliotti GS

I was just looking at a picture I have of Joe's guitar rack and he has a couple of his Gigliotti GS's on there... that got me thinking- I don't think I have ever seen him play one of those live.  Can anyone else remember if/when he has ever played one of those live, I know he plays the GT all the time on Mountain Time, Takin' The Hit etc., but I'm not so sure about the GS.

Scott

Actually, I think I have seen him play it once- it was back in Hartford at the Webster last year, he played it for the encore- I Don't Live Anywhere, but I'm not sure- I might just be thinking it was a GS, because he always plays his gold sparkle strat on that one, but I'm not sure...

Hi Scott...

Here is a link to my Bull Run gallery on Flickr.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tararaboom … 201548216/

If you go to the bottom of the page, to the right, it will direct you to all of my galleries.  You will find Webster 16-Sept-05 and 31-Oct-04, if you look for them.

Sorry, that I did not direct link you.  I am at work and Flickr is considered on line storage and it is blocked.  Sorry, to make you work for the photo.

I will check later...

Cheers,

Tara

Re: Joe's Gigliotti GS

Pete,  that one looks like the GT not the GS...?

Sunshine, thanks for letting me just about sit in your lap for a few of these shots.  Sitting on the floor was great, though.  No one complained my head (or camera) was in the way! No toe stepping, either...Fotopete!

Hey fotopete,
I was just looking through your album on your website and came across a picture of Joe playing an airline guitar... do you know what song he was using it on?  The picture I am referring to is here: http://www.fotopete.com/pics/bon239.jpg

Re: Joe's Gigliotti GS

Tara - what good would a party do without a Joe to open your beverage.

What you think - maybe a pass out item for you and Al - next roadtrip?

Re: Joe's Gigliotti GS

Gigliatti. Is that the guitar he plays with the color painted on that changes color? Like a rainbow type holographic paint? If not, what is that guitar because I love it!! It is the one he starts with on Live at Rockpalast. It looks just like a Tele.

Gigliotti GT is the guitar in the Rockapast DVD for two songs. It has a brushed metal top with clear coat. It was made by Patrick Gigliotti and was the first of many that Joe now owns. www.gigliottiguitars.com There is now a Joe Bonamassa signature Gigliotti available.

I am not a player but have an appreciation for fine craftsmanship. They are beautiful on stage and even more impressive to hold. Check them out.
