Topic: BLUES MOVIE

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT A MOVIE THAT'S COMING OUT CALLED "HONEYDRIPPER?" I GOT THE TAIL END OF AN INTERVIEW WITH THE GUY WHO MADE THE MOVIE. I GUESS IT'S SORTA ABOUT THE BLUES AND ITS HISTORY. KEB MO PLAYS A CHARACTER IN IT. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE A HUGE NATIONAL RELEASE. HERE IN HARTFORD IT'S AT REAL ART WAYS. JOE YOU HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT IT? IT WOULD DEFINITELY INTEREST YOU.

ANSWERED MY OWN QUESTION! IT'S A JOHN SAYLES MOVIE WITH DANNY GLOVER,KEB MO etc. YOU CAN SEE A ROUGH CUT OF IT ON YOU TUBE.

On the internet, caps means you're yelling. Who knows, it might just be a case of Will Ferrell's character on SNL that can't control the volume of his voice.

Thanks for clearing that up.  Sometimes people yell when they don't mean to.
There is a joke (an old saying if you will) about being treated like a redheaded stepchild.  Have you heard the saying before?

It was not clear to me...so I asked.  Just like I ask my wife and/or daughter when the volume becomes questionable.  I wanted to ask on his first post.  I waited.

Site is german, but the trailer is in english - I hope that the theaters will play it, doesn´t sound like the new "Blockbuster" (that was meant as a compliment to the movie)....

Eva putting us back on track...gut!  The movie looks beautiful, as does your English.  I saw the trailers some time ago and was intrigued.  Alabama in the 50s...hot, some months.

BTW, being a student of english and the romance languages, I love having the Deutsch & the Dutch on this forum.  I'm in over my head.

It's a B movie at best. It's has a Dukes of Hazards mentality with an R rating without the chase scenes.
