A couple years ago we went to see what I thought was Doyle the guitarist however
when we got there it turned out to be his father's band. They were good, but I
was very disappointed. So he's still on my list to see. I won't mention that he's
gorgeous - Roy will get on my case again.... lol.

I know! He needs a new record. Probably hard to find time to record new stuff when doing touring/session work with Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi, Me'Shell Ndegeocello etc...

Doyle's absolutely one of my favorites too. I love him in Claptons' Sessions for Robert J and Crossroads. So he plays left handed, but strung upside down, right? Isn't that how Albert King played as well? It just messes with me to try to figure out how he's playing anything. A student of mine and I are working on Hell Hound on My Trail and I was trying to figure it out from the Sessions footage--not an easy task.
He's on my list of guitarists to see.
