I know that this Rock band is already hot in US but not that much over here in Holland.
Heard a couple of these guys songs on my holiday in US last year and recently saw their latest album in a recordshop.
Great album, great band,great sound.
For those who don't know this band. Really worth looking these guys up at Youtube.

Hi Marianne, we have seen him twice live and they put on a great show. He has a great rock voice but can bring it down when he needs to. He did Lennon's song Imagine and brought the house down.
Oh my god Marianne...if hear Chris Daughtry one more time Im gonna scream!!...my wife loves him...we saw him in Memphis last year..he tore it up...he should have won "American Idol"....the fans screwed that one up....great family man...he deserved his big break

Your probably right Jim...what ever happened to the dude with the premature gray hair...I think he was from Birminham Al...cant remember his name....looks like his 15 minutes were up as soon as the show ended

He was offered to sing for the band Fuel - but he decided to have his own band after 'idol'.
from what I know he still has all the original band members from before he was on 'idol' - thats cool.

Taylor Hicks. He was just dropped from his label. He has been the worst selling Idol winner. I thought he belonged in a bar all along. Looks like that is where he will end up.

One of the few common interests I share with my wife is an addiction to reality shows. One being Idol.
I have never once plopped down a nickel to see or hear a winner or a loser of Idol. We have found out with DVR you can FF through the commercials and watch an hour episode in about 22 minutes.
It is mindless TV drivel for when we morph into couch potatoes once or twice a week.
Daughtry is a great singer...BUT I am really tired of all the same cookie cutter bands out there like Daughtry, Nickelback, Hinder, etc etc etc. I know I'm not alone on that one. Hey, just an opinion...not knocking talent, etc. Rock music for the most part should be called "modern corporate rock"...it's no longer alternative, and hardly any straight up ROCK your face off bands anymore. So I'm tired of all the cookie cutter bands and all of the drop D bands like Godsmack...I could list dozens more.
Does anybody know the details about how long Idol owns these people after their appearance on the show. I'm talking about the ones like Daughtry that make it as a result. I've heard they sign their lives away to get to the final rounds. I've only watched America's Got Talent for three episodes last summer when Andrew Beal a friend from here in Benicia made it through three episodes. Until he was off the show he couldn't discuss a word about it as he was under contract and would have forfeited any prize money if he had. He said the reason for this was that the show was choreagraphed by the producers and the contestants knew the outcome well before the shows aired. The text votes were just money in the phone co.'s pockets. I'll stick with the History Channel.

Honestly, the only Idol contestant you could even say I like is....don't tell anybody.......Kelly Clarkson. I think some of her songs are really cool, and of course, I'm pretty sure she's going to be my future wife.

thats the Fantasy video version but it has the best sound i think
