Topic: Sammy Hagar

Just thought I would share.  We were planning on seeing you Joe in Vegas on Feb 2nd, til we got ahold of some great seats to see Sammy Hagar the same night, same time.  Wanted to share some love that has been flowing thru the Sammy Board about you.  Sammy is suppose to have a special guest guitar hero join him on-stage this night in Vegas and your name has been brought up numerous times and people have been dealing out the compliments on you and your wicked guitar (which we have known for mnay years).  I know you won't be that far away but with being the same time it would be impossible to be two places at the same time.  Keep on tearin' it up Joe B. and will catch a show soon.

Lost my old password so I am starting again from the ground floor, says I am a new member but you and me know better.  Need to get you back to Murphy's sometime soon.  I know Dr. Bob and Wanda would love that.  See ya soon.

Re: Sammy Hagar

I was on the old board many years ago before the switch to this one.  Have always been a huge Joe B supporter, just new to this site.  I belong to many differnet boards, have 2 teenagers, a son who plays close to 70 Baseball games a year, looking at Colleges for him,  a wife, 2 dogs and work way too much.  Sometimes it is just way too tough to keep up with everything.  Been away too long from the Joe B board, just trying to catch back up.

Take care

Cool...welcome back...baseball junkie here...hope your son gets a "ride" close to home...got to see him play RIGHT!

Re: Sammy Hagar

I catch most of them, especially when he pitches (also plays outfield)  He's a pure lefty all the way and he had the pleasure of seeing Joe B twice.  Once when Joe opened for Frampton and once at Nathan P. Murphy's (Dr. Bob was nice enough to let him in). He still talks about how great Joe B was.  Nice to be back and also talk to another baseball junkie.  I'm ready for Spring.

Re: Sammy Hagar

Capt!!! Good to see you back. Folks, Capt Kirk was THE MAN in the old "Contact the radio stations" Street Team days when...what was it, Blues Deluxe was coming out?? He was personally responsible for TONS or radio stations getting a copy of Joe's CD. Great to hear from you again!

Stu and Phil, thanks for the kind words.  You guys have always rocked and see you are still doing so.  Would love to cross paths with you all in Vegas.  We are arriving Friday night and will be in town thru Monday afternoon.  Maybe lunch or dinner somewhere along the way and would be great to see Joe B also.  Will get in touch with you by e-mail soon.  How is Jim M. doing?  Love to catch up with him again soon.  I believe the last time I saw you all might of been down at Two Frogs.

Re: Sammy Hagar

Kirk, Doing good. looking forward to the Vegas trip. We will be staying over for the Superbowl although I don't have a dog in the fight anymore.

The last time we saw you might of been Nathan P Murphy's.

Hope to cross paths in Las Wages.

Re: Sammy Hagar

Capt.:

Good to have you back on "Board" so to speak. As you can see, we have added fans from across the globe.

When you get to a certain age, I have heard it is good to WRITE DOWN your password!
Of course I have never had that problem! Not

The only problem I can see now that you are back is that we cannot give you $hit behind your back.
Actually, it is good to see some of the street teamers that has a long history with Joe and the Band.

Sounds like Vegas would be a blast.

Re: Sammy Hagar

Hello Capt., J Dawg here, Shreds partner in crime. We're headed south a week from Thur., but won't be making it to Vegas. Two outta three Joe shows ain't bad though. The minute the Browns were eliminated from the playoff picture baseball overwhelmed my brain, opening day can't get here soon enough. Perhaps we'll cross paths some other place, some other time. By the way where does the Capt. call home?

Re: Sammy Hagar

Rockin' Ron, J Dawg and Bill, thanks for the tips.  Yes, with my age I do need to start writing down passwords.  You know the brain tells me I can still do things i use to do but in reality it can be quite embarrassing.  I thought I could still run pretty good when my son challenged me to a race this year and pulled a muscle 3 steps out of the gate.  lol  No doubt, Joe B has grown tremendously and will continue to.  Whatever I can do to help, I'm here.  J Dawg, I'm here in Springfield, Missouri.  Love to meet up with you all someday.  "Keep on Rocin".  Larry G, you out there?

Jim, try to catch up with you in Vegas, hope I don't lose my shirt.  Cowboy's, was that your team?  Chiefs did not even make it out of the gate.  Next Year hopefully!
