Never heard of this guy. Love it!!! Reminds me of Albert Collins and Joe Louis Walker.

Love that song, Jeff, and it is FUN to play...and girls shake their tail feathers to it too....I "borrowed" it from a guy at a blues jam and it's now one of my "signature" (if someone who plays as rarely as I can have such a thing) song at some of the blues jams...people seem to really relate:

Nasty Habits by Tommy Castro

Everything I do, everything I do is bad for me (2x)
All my nasty habits, they just won't let me be

I like to drink, and I like to smoke
They say it's gonna kill me, that ain't no joke
Hey, hey, hey, everything I do is bad for me
All my nasty habits, they just won't let me be

It'd be a blast to play it with ya...maybe I can even get the opening lick down (I "dumb it down" for the blues jam for simplicity)

Right on Big JJ, you'll notice the ladies are shakin' it and most of the dudes are standin' around with their hands in their pockets. That's just how Tommy rolls. I can see Sister Cate rockin' that Blues Cruise boat when Tommy cranks it up, rock the boat Sis!!!

I believe so...someone posted some video months back where he had a camera rolling when he pulled up to a blues festival in Eurpoe...he says in it.... "oh, I see Joe Bonamassa is here"...Tommy was touring all over there at the time

Tommy tours Europe almost as much as Joe does. Go to tommycastro.com and get on his e-mail to hear when he's in your neck of the woods. We're pretty spoiled hear in the SF area since Tommy lives and grew up here he's constantly gigging here, and the ladies never tire of him. A couple of CD's to have are The Essential Tommy Castro and the new one Painkiller.

The opening lick starts on the 4, Carl.  So it's 4 AND to start the riff.  You can count the rest out.
Slick as TC's hair.
