anybody have a torrent for this show?
For now I shoot natural light and work from the outside of the crowd.
I am hoping to get front stage and shoot some wide close shots,
but I need more JB fans to invite me to step on their toes - maybe this weekend I will venture to the front.
Well, you did a good job taking MY seat...I and I didn't even notice you were old or blind! Hope you got those great shots of the man banging the sticks.
Joe has the best photographers as fans! Fabulous pictures fotopete!
Mohegan gallery is finished -
Hey Fotopete. Loved your photos they are Awesome! Barbara
One smile at a time ;-)
Did your package arrive yet.
Not yet, but I certainly am looking forward to getting it. Thanks again Pete. Barbara
Hey Pete, your photos came in the mail today. They are great. Just love them. Thanks so much, Barbara
One of these days, it would be fun to have all us photo junkies front and center at a show and compare shots after.
Pete, I am so jealous that Tara got to shoot with your camera. That's the one I was supposed to get this year (the one I really wanted is waaaaay out of my price range), but it's been put on the backburner until I get caught up on bills.
On another note, I ran into the photographer who shot half of Joe's calendar again last week and this guy is just such an incredible artist. I practically got down on bended knee and begged him to let me carry his gear sometime. Pathetic, but true. Thankfully, he didn't laugh in my face. Instead, he's been very encouraging about my work.

On the cruise, in the Vista Lounge, there must have been over fifty on the dance floor area. It was scary to watch (as a fan).
I was nervous using Pete's camera...never used that type of camera. Pete must be holding his head in his hands when he looks at the photo's I shot.
Tara - now you know why I shoot from way back, I really hate rubbing elbows & competing for space.
In the back I can watch the awesome show, quaff a beer, take a pic or two, drink another beer and you know ..... just goof off.
the suit fit's.
Barbra - glad you liked the selection
I'm curious if this venue has different arenas for shows? Some Clapton fans are talking about Eric playing here soon, what a great venue it is and I thought the room size was about 10,000 people.
Its a Casino in CT, kinda a American Indian themed place. Stage is the "Wolf Den" right in the middle of the casino. I think maybe 250 to 300 seats.
Angela,
The Mohegan Sun has three venues. The Wolf's Den seats 500 and the shows are free. Then the Cabaret Theater seats about the same, yet they sell tickets via ticketmaster. Then the Sun Arena that is 10,000 seats.
Clapton - now that sounds like a fun show
who's up for that one

Going to see him in Raleigh and in Charlotte this October. He never disappoints and with Derek on slide and Doyle Bramhall II on backup, it's going to be some great music.
David - that looks like another possible roadtrip.

There are still some tickets available for both shows but in the upper level, way up!
But come on down anyways...
David -
I see Eric is also playing here at the Mohegan Sun Casino in October.
I need to make a few calls and hopefully can be credentialed to photograph entire show.
Normally they allow the first three songs only - most bands take that long to warm up.
If i do - I'll keep you in mind for a pic.
