Re: Ok.. Im off to Nashville
It would be nice if the JB signature went a similar route as the Gary Moore signature, which was production based rather than Gibson Custom Shop. $2000 vs $4500 would be great for the fans.

Joe, if you're checking us out from Nashville how about posting some photos from the Gibson factory or maybe an update on the Les Paul please?
GSJ...when I was in Memphis last year I saw a huge Gibson bldg....I thought that was the factory....I never made it inside....maybe this year.

Like many others, can't wait to see the finished prouct !!! A great honor, well deserved Joe. Have fun andtell us all about it when you return !!!!
The Gibson factory and museum in Memphis is something you have to visit if you are down there. It is well worth them time. Lots of history, cool guitars, and the factory tour is amazing. Seeing those guitars being built by hand is very cool. Don't miss it !!!! Larry G
There's a great DVD Factory Tour from Gibson. We've got a copy at work so I think it may be available from Gibson.

Wow yes! ABOUT TIME you got your signature guitar! Hope it turns out great Im sure it will
Excited to see you back in Sweden soon
Ok it's been a week now, how about an update boss?
I've toured the Gibson Guitar Factory in Memphis twice. Really cool place. Only thing that was a bummer was that the last time I was there I was just starting to play so I didn't get to really try out all the guitars. I know there they call Fender "that other guitar maker."
I just really hope this Les Paul is 1) available and 2) not entirely too expensive.
I will be saddened if there are only going to be a few of them made and they require me to rob a bank to afford one. I mean, I don't mind so much paying $2,000 to maybe $3,000 for a CS Les Paul, but anything past that is getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I mean, $4,400 for a Zakk Wylde CS Les Paul?!?! C'mon....

I think Gary Moore got it about right for his Signature Model but I wish it had had binding!!

So how much did one of those cost?
They were around 1799 or 1899 here in Canada.....
I do recall a bud saying he had seen one under 1600 but never saw that with my own eyes!!!

I really hope the JB signature line is this affordable!
It's probably just a pipe dream, but I can still hope.
