Topic: Crosby Loggins & the Light

I just listened closely to the CD, We All Go Home.  It's not blues but I can see why Joe backs him.  Different.  Not bad...hmmm...

Me mellow out NAH!  I want fireworks with a backbeat.  Not bad at all.

Re: Crosby Loggins & the Light

I've been listening to this CD a lot (in the permanent rotation with Joe) and I'm LOVING IT!! This is one great record. The songwriting is superb, Crosby's voice is wonderful and the band is great. I can see why Joe signed him and I highly recommend to anyone to buy this. You won't be sorry.

I'm just saying.

Re: Crosby Loggins & the Light

I'll look into this band...thanx for the tip!

Re: Crosby Loggins & the Light

I just noticed Jane's new signature which led me to comment that Guitar Player just did a very nice write up on Crosby Loggins and mentions Joe a couple of times as the record label and touring with him.

Re: Crosby Loggins & the Light

gotta say i saw him several times opening for joe and was less than impressed.  and no it had nothing to do with expecting a guitar wizard or blues music.  didnt really see anything special about him, but a lot here seem to love him, so to each his/her own, just throwing my opinion out there.

The CD is very different from his live performance. He has a band behind him on the CD and they have a great sound. Just him playing an acoustic guitar doesn't do justice to these songs. You gotta listen to the CD to appreciate them.
