Re: Philip Sayce

Philip Sayce has been a favorite of mine since I saw a video of him in Jeff Heally's band. Absolutely in my top 5.   He plays regular Thursday nights at a club in LA called the Brass Elephant. Our very own JB has joined Philip on stage and the results are as expected, INCREDIBLE! I was fortunate enough to get a dvd copy of the jam.    A friend compared the 2 as Clapton & Hendrix.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Philip Sayce

Thanks Michael. I actually have them all. A forum member has been pimping the Slam for the past few monthes. I jumped right on the Slam bandwagon the minute I heard the disc. Do you have the DVD?  Damn Pal format sucks but at least it plays in my Dell. Davey Knowles absolutely nails, Pink Floyds money. Rocks it good. Damn the boy's got a voice for the blues.

Re: Philip Sayce

A big bump for Phillip Sayce here...man is simply mind boggling.

"Peace Machine" has been in my cars CD changer for about 6 months straight

Also, take note that he has beaten that guitar into submission - not a store bought Relic.  there are some clips from when he was with Jeff Healey right after he bought it and it was immaculate.

Enjoy ~

Re: Philip Sayce

Oooooh MY!!!  And the Forum keeps on giving........ why, I do declare, THAT is almost more than this little gal's heart can TAKE at this hour!  Whew!

Soon - I'm going to owe everyone here my very LIFE for EVERYTHING you bring to me.  Mr. Sayce is an especially tasty treat.  Muchas Gracias mi amigos!!

I'm listening to "Alchemy" right now - VERY nice.......

wink  Libby  wink

P. S.  Oooooh - looky, looky - he's from L. A. too!!!!  Looks like I'll have to wait for him to finish touring with Ms. Etheridge this summer first though......

I know that Joe could play one of those kid's guitars with the plastic strings and make it sound good-
