Were going Joe heavy, but when was the last time you had a chance to program a show

Re: Radio Shows

I'll re-suggest Gentleman's Blues Club. In particlular:

From Shotgun Wedding

1) Dust Broom
2) Living At The Aztec Hotel
3) Lyndell Shuffle

From Longhorn Honeymoon

1) 2 Kinds Of Women
2) The Sky's On Fire
3) Run

Re: Radio Shows

You already got my Joe request (Man of Many Words/Blues Deluxe), but how about a slice of Robben Ford from his latest grammy nominee Truth. He covers Paul Simons One Man's Ceiling as a duet with Susan Tedeschi and it really shines. Can't wait to tune in the last one was a gas. Patty, can we make it your birthday again, not that I want to speed up the aging process on ya'. Heck that would make you 25 or 26 by now huh?

                                                                                                    Merry Xmas,

                                                                                                    J Dawg

Remember kids to circle round the radar rodeo as Dino dishes up a heepin' helpin' of da blues!!!

Re: Radio Shows

Dino,
The 28th is my son's 24th birthday. I'll leave it to you to play something appropriate. For me if you have BB King's Indianola Mississippi Seeds album which is the first BB King album I bought. Go Underground is one of my favorites off the album. I'll second the Robben Ford request. The guy just doesn't get the props he deserves in the blues world. Should of been nominated long ago. My favorite song of Robben's is Nothing to Nobody off of Supernatural. Tired of Talking from Handful of Blues is a keeper as well.

Re: Radio Shows

Amen about Robben Jim. I last saw him live last Feb. and was just knocked out w/ Volker Strifler accompanying on guitar. A great night out. I knew we'd find a birthday to celebrate, so Patty's off the hook.
