Topic: Another Youtube clip...

I was watching this video and thinking to myself, "Gee, this is a pretty good song, but if he would only sing it and/or play it like he meant it....like he felt it...if he'd just show A LITTLE passion..."

Excellent song....written by Tinsley Ellis...a pretty great writer/singer/blues guitarist in his own right...check out "Storm Warning" or "Hell or High Water" if you get a chance....I think I remember hearing he sat in a few songs with Joe in Atlanta a year or two ago...would love to hear a recording of that if anyone has it smile

Ya think Stu? Small venue or large he carries it off well...Carl lots of good Tinsley material in my collection...Derek Trucks as a kid plays on Storm Warning..I think Joe had shared a show bill with Tinsley and they played something together...thought it was stage and not studio?!

I am glad Joe doesn't make faces like that. I mean i can see the emotion but honestly its quite distracting and a bit over the top - for me. Not knocking it, just not something for me there.I like a guy to be emotionally available but.... I actually would prefer that song audio only.

Hehehe so I guess SRV and Gary Moore are on your banned list too???

Me noooo problem with men showing their emotion for once... LMAO

Not to be taken to heart.  Johnny is not faking anything...That's what it takes to get what you get out of him.  If one were to get too close to him when he's in that zone, one might have spittle or sweat fall on their face.  A case could be made for the same regarding Joe-pure emotion & sweat, and yeah he does make faces, most do.   Everyone can't make 'em like Rick Nielsen...Joe when he used to do "Reconsider, Baby", though-lookout!
