WOW! I agree. I bought it without even listening to it first. Its Joe! It has to be good.  Thanks for the Xmas present. Best thing I have bought myself this year.

Over here in dear old blighty it is the dollar equivalent of $16 so think yourselves fortunate. That said I just got paid so I visited the iStore and downloaded it. Just listening to Blues Deluxe and feel as if I'm standing in the old Empire itself.

All I can say is WOW and Thank You!!

                  I downloaded it off itunes last night. Yesterday, while driving the AT&T truck, as usual, I am blasting "Blues Deluxe"  from the Live at RockPalast DVD, which I have copied to my ipod. Just when you think that you've heard the most awesome version, another one comes along.
                  Today, I listened to these five songs from the Shepherds Bush release for 8 hours straight. I am driving the truck, trying to contain myself. It can't be done. While listening to the cut, "Blues Deluxe" on I-4 today,  I noticed that fellow motorists were looking at me like I had a physical disability. I am sure that it would be unsafe to listen to these tracks and operate heavy machinery in a safe manner. If you can sit still during this rendition, then you may want to have your pulse checked.
                  I have only committed one crime. I can not believe that I didn't discover Joe sooner than a few months ago. I have no excuse. 17 years ago when I moved down to Florida, my mother would cut out the news clippings of Joe in the Observer Dispatch in Utica, N.Y. and send them to me. I never checked him out.
                  My ignorance is something that I will have to deal with however, I think that it has made me that much more determined to spread the good word.

I just checked the i-tunes site and was dismayed to see that the first review is neither helpful or correct....take a look and you'll see what I mean. I'm not an i-tunes member but if any of you are then please write a review to counter-act the negative ill-informed review that's on there at the moment.

That seems like a way more fair price.  I think that will really help the sales of it, as the 10 dollar price was no big set back to hard core fans like myself and everyone else here, but could be an issue for people new to him.  Im glad to hear that.

I don't know about that Patty, but that's one of my problems with iTunes. Call me old fashioned, but I like to have the artwork, as well as liner notes, etc. I did find a website that used to allow you to download a higher quality image of the album cover, but apparently Apple has blocked their access. (http://www.thejosher.net/iTunes/)

BTW -  Joe has 3 albums in the top ten Blues albums on iTunes! Shepherds Bush is currently #2, Sloe Gin #7, You and Me #8.

I put the first review up then some clown calling himself bluesbrother posted a piece of crap review. He said something like "how can anyone call this the blues". The guy needs to go on ebay and get himself some new ears.

If iTunes have dropped the price to $7.99 then I am even more pissed with them. Are we in the UK second class citizens or something. How can they justify calling themselves a worldwide store when they have one product at such a shocking price difference between two countries!

Does anyone know if this will ever come out as a CD?  I prefer having an actual "physical something" I can keep just in case my computer bites the dust.  Not to mention the artwork/liner notes/etc...

I have just finished downloading the 5 songs & putting them on my iPod, but I'll still buy the CD if it comes out (with the WHOLE concert, maybe?) so I hope they do release a physical copy of this too.

Gotta go listen to the show now!

iTunes lets you burn it to CD 3 times before it locks.

If you import your burned cd into a computer as mp3, you can burn more cds from the mp3 import (3rd generation) for backups. Not that I condone any of this...

itunes said it was from store and not eligble to burn cd or something? was trying it on my mac...tried to convert to mp3 and burn but mp3 played without sound>?
