Re: led zeppelin reunion

I have been enjoying the buzz around the Zep reunion.

Led Zeppelin was my favorite band growing up. Got to see them twice, once in Seattle and once in Vancouver BC. I've been listening to Led Zep I all day in the office (my favorite Zep album). What a mix of talent. JPJ was/is an AMAZING talent on bass, and Bonzo was a monster on drums. I rank them the best rhythm section of all time...and that a tough call with the likes of Ginger Baker/Jack Bruce and Geddy Lee/Neil Peart to compete against...but at the end of the day, JPJ/Bonzo were the best IMO.

What a flood of emotion it must have been for Jason Bonham...I know it would have been for me. Heck, I still get a bit melancholy at times when I use my Dad's tools, building a bookshelf or whatever project I have going on.

Plant and Page, well nothing can be said that hasn't been said already. Hopefully this won't be the last performance. Undoubtedly there has been a spike in record sales and mp3 downloads...and hopefully they enjoyed themselves!

Zep was responsible for my love affair with the blues.

I watched VH1C as it was all Zep night..Started with "Live" , so I pretended! Then I watched BBC for coverage. Not being able to stream video is torture!        Cathy

It is a tough call between Cream and Led, but I am with you Stu, at the end of the day, Zep is it!

Music is good for the Soul...
