SOME GUYS HAVE ALL THE LUCK...couldn't happen to a better guy!!! You must be counting down the days...this is just great news!!! I'm excited for ya'.

Last night my son got an email that he has been selected to purchase tickets. We had until the 25th of October to make up our minds. Well didn't take long, we are going!!! Got two tickets in the upper level Row A. Looks like decent seats.
Should be a whirlwind experience.... I'm Dazed and Confused.....

The new Guitar World is excellent, January 08'...Jimmy Page on the front, cool interviews. And if you want to be surprised at the show, don't read on. Jimmy mentions Kevin Shirley in the article...cool photos by Ross Halfin...Also, nice article about SRV and his Lenny strat...limited edition replica to go on sale Dec. 12th.
Jimmy's says one song they are going to play is "For Your Life", from Presence (underrated album IMO)...never played in concert before, only played when recorded. Also, the closing of one of the interviews touches on the possiblity of a tour...Page would like to, Plant isn't convinced, but Jimmy thinks ..."it's a bit silly because there is such a massive demand. It's a bit selfish to do just one show. If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle."

I was wondering what anyone thought of this. Just say we take all legality out of the equation and Plant doesn't want to tour and Jimmy does...would you go see a modified Led Zeppelin with Jason Bonham on drums and a substitute singer for Robert Plant? (leaving 2 original members, like the Doors...Riders on the Storm) Jimmy could substitute either a female singer to continue to change things up or one of the guys who does Plant justice in a Led tribute band. I'd go in a heartbeat!

Hi Angela, yes we are getting really antsy to get over there and see get the Led out. Hopefully they will put on a great concert, one that will go down for the books. The Cream reunion at MSG was very special in 05, Crossroads II was worth every bit, so it will interesting to see how this compares...
Not sure about a modified Zep tour, I don't think that it would be anything close without Plant.
