Topic: I know where I belong...

Hi there,
I've been trying to find some form of tab for "I know where I belong". Even just the key and chords. Something about that song, It has the coolest groove.
I hope someone can help.

P.s. : Does Joe ever get up to Canada ? West coast specifically ? Be cool if we seen him for the jazz fest during the summer.

Re: I know where I belong...

I Know Where I Belong is played around the B minor Pentatonic... dont really have time to tab it out right now... ill come on later and tab out the intro for you- its really not too tough to get down.

Also, welcome to the board!

Angela,
One of my favorites too. I remember hearing a story about Joe, Eric and Kenny playing this at the Oneida Casino in Wisconsin. I know someone who saw them working on it earlier in the day and said (after not having played it for a LONG time) the progression from fumbling a bit to playing it well was accomplished in a pretty short time. Sure wish I coulda seen that!

Theres some many good licks in that solo too. Theres one lick in the studio version of I Know Where I belong which kills me everytime.... its from 3:52-3:58 and then there is a flurry of notes after that which I can't work out either!

Re: I know where I belong...

Thanks for the replies and the welcome. Tab for the intro would be great, thanks.
I only learned about Joe a couple months ago, Up here you have to search for good music. With the government subsidizing the music industry, you hear alot of mediocrity.  Every so often I stumble across someone who blows me away as soon as I hear the first song. I think the term I'm looking for is "**## my pants" (sorry for the language). The only ones who have done that are SRV, Satch, and Yngwie (yeah, I know. I was 15)
Now I can add Joe to the list, Even better because the band in the Rockpalast show is phenomenal. That Bassist is a monster, Eric Czar ? Is that right ?
Anyway, thanks for the welcome.
see ya soon

That's too bad the music industry is being subsidized- thats the last thing it needs!  Where are you from?

Joe actually has a new band now- Eric and Kenny (old drummer) are gone... now there's Carmine on bass, Rick on piano, Bogie on drums, and of course Joe on guitars and vocals...
