Topic: Lance Lopez, important info

I saw the posts about Lance Lopez. I'm not familiar with him, but I got a bulletin this a.m. via Myspace from Wes Jeans band and wanted to pass it along.

Had to verify with him that it was true before forwarding. Here was his response. I figured those of you who are big fans might want to read it and follow-up.

We all make mistakes, some of them land us in bigger trouble than others. Thankfully we live in a country where we can make it past those mistakes to go on with our lives.

Yes its real unfortunately. He had an outstanding warrant and crossed back over into the states. Were putting on a benefit concert for him in Paris, Tx on Dec 21st. I will post some bulletins on it. Any help spreading the word about this benefit would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know a thing about Lance Lopez but folks on a thread I check out seem to really like him.

For those of you who have written Lance Lopez or posted comments on his pages over the past 6 weeks, I just wanna let you Lance is currently unable to access his MySpace pages. He has asked me to check in on them.

Kellie- When you find out more info can you pass it along, like for how long? Yes we all do make mistakes in life some bigger than others and if not too serious we are given a second chance.

I just bought Lances CD "Higher Ground" and I'll tell you what, it is one of the best CD's I have heard in a long time, absolutly brilliant. Funky, Bluesy, and Rocky (Funk, Blues, Rock & Roll).

I had to do some searching myself and I came across this site http://www.pbase.com/xradiotx/lance_lopez   ,Awesome Lance pics.  The ones when he was about 5 years younger are great. He had kind of a devilish grin all the time. That's when I found out about Lance. Been one of his biggest fans since. Hurry Home LL.
