Topic: Crossroads DVD

The local PBS station in Chicago was showing an abbreviated (2 1/2 hour) version of the Chicago area Crossroads show, from July of this year.
It brought me right back to the day of the show. I didn't get to watch the entire show, but what I saw was great. I guess the actual dvd runs 4 hours and is for sale at this moment.

Bill,

I am watching it as I type. Great, great music! I might have to put this on my list for Santa! lol  I thought I heard them say that they were in Texas though?

This is sweet! Steve Winwood and Clapton are playing Had to Cry Today! ...Still like Joe's version better though. smile

The DVD's are a must. Even though the 2 DVD's cover less than half the day, it's still a steal for 20 bucks!

Rhonda,
Crossroads #1 was in Texas (2004). Crossroads #2 was in the Chicago area (2007).

Yeah, that song really made me wish Joe was there. Joe sure transformed that song, didn't he? I actually turned to my daughter during the show and said "Hey, Clapton and Winwood are playing a Joe cover"! smile

That is a great list, but it wasn't even half of the day! They would have needed 5 DVD's to cover it.
Here's another list of the whole day:
