Keep on impressing those young girls.  You need to bring more women to your shows!!  It's a pretty untapped demographic, as you seem to have a predominatly male audience.
We need more Eva's over here.  I am so impressed with her love for blues/rock.

Thank you for being impressed starks5867 .... wink
But I totally agree: we need more women! Luckly there are  lot of blues-rocking women on the forum - but where have they gone at the concerts?! The only show I saw where I wasn´t one out of 3 women was Paradiso - I had so much fun with LynB, Annelies, Marianne and Marijke...  maybe it´s just the germans. wink

Joebeacon, I´m happy that it´s morning right now in Germany and that I didn´t read your post yesterday evening ... (see Roys post)!

Eva,

You forgot to mention my dog Goldie and I, who were dressed as very HOTT American Blues Rocking women at the Paradiso. You remember, we waited on the steps for what seemed like hours until Annelies finally felt sorry for us and brought us in to meet everyone. I was it that short red mini-skirt with the matching pumps and Goldie was dressed in a sultry black evening gown. The one thing that I didn't understand is, why did everyone get invited backstage by Carmine except for Goldie and I? Oh well, maybe we were a little over dressed!! lol

How could I forget ?! big_smile

You are welcome!!  I enjoy reading your posts all the time.  You seem to always have something funny and positive to say.  There is an excellent female fan base starting over there.  I'm going to have to work on the girls in the Cleveland area........my daughters freinds are my new mission..........I will just tell them that Joe's concerts are a target rich environment for guys!!  And that I will buy them their first couple drinks........and I'll be the designated driver, and what ever else it takes!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Eva,
Susan

Ah, Ian with Mick. That was awesome. I saw this lineup a couple of times back in the day. Wow, that takes me back. Thanks for sharing!

FYI - Ian's latest recored, "shunken heads" is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Now that is a good argument, Susan! smile
Maybe I can convince some of my friends to come to Joe´s next concert in Germany by telling them about all the lovely guys hanging round at a Joe-concert ...
Good luck on buliding up the female Cleveland fan-base !

Have a nice day,
Eva

All of our guardian angels were working overtime back then.  It made us that much wiser when it came to raising our own kids!

Doren-thanks for the recommendation of Ian's...I'm making my Christmas CD list.

And, I nominate Eva as Germany's Joe Bonamassa Ambassador...under one condition...she has to provide German chocolate to all new fans...she could tape Joe's card on the packaging! smile smile smile

Hell yeah!!! I constructed a giant one out of cardboard that I wore as a halloween costume many years ago, people kept trying to take a bite out of me all night long. You may remember Don Henley referring to them as, "tablets of love" in an Eagles tune.

Hey Andre,

I hope that wasn´t bitter irony in your voice - you ("men from the forum") ARE lovely and nice (but NOT all the guys that hang around at Joe´s shows are! That´s a difference) wink .

And yes, I agree on the one about german chocolate (Lindt .... mmmmmhhh!) - but the people in switzerland also know how to make some real good chocolate (Toblerone .... mmmmmmhhhh!).
I have to stop now, otherwise I´ll have to eat some......

Good night, Eva
