Hey Joe,
Great news about the JB Signature Les Paul.
I am so glad to see a quality player like yourself get Gibson to do this when idoits like Tom DeLonge have a signature guitar out.

When will the "Weapon" be available for sale? or Are they making for you only?

That is the Gibson Skylark Guitar.  Its a prototype that Gibson is working on.  Joe said it was a cross between a Les Paul and Gibson lap steel guitar (can't think of the name.)  Anyway, Gibson is working on the guitar and set one to Joe for feedback and suggestions.

The Gibson lap steel is called a Skylark, although I've heard it called a Korina which is actually the type of wood it is made from. Here's a couple examples:
