Topic: Bogie rocks!

Hey all...no particular reason for this post but I was just thinking while watching a YouTube video of the Just Got Paid/Mule/Dazed & Confused medley that the last few times I've seen the band, I spent almost as much time watching Bogie as Joe, and I'm a freakin' guitar player.  Bogie, I just wanted to tell you that I have seen some pretty amazing drummers (Peart, Portnoy, Collins (yes, he really CAN play drums) and I am just really blown away by your ability.  There were a couple moments at Ram's Head Live where you and Joe together were playing Zeppelin-style stuff better than Zeppelin, IMHO.  Keep up the rockin, dude!

While Bogie displays killer skills behind the drum kit............he still stays sadly confused about what to do with his cole slaw, while eating BBQ.

We have the highest hopes during the holiday season that some Christmas miracle will take place and straighten this out. lol

I have also seen some amazing drumers over the years, and heartily agree that Bogie is among the best.

It was great to watch him catch que's from the rest of the band, as if they had been playing for years and years together.

He always seems to be enjoying himself when on stage.

I can still remember the first time I saw Bogie play with Joe (at Shank Hall). I was totally blown away at Bogie's skills. As the guys play together more and more, They just keep getting better.

I prefer the Russian way.."Bogie on attack". He and Carmine lay down a solid, smooth rhythm for Joe to ride. Then there's Bogie's jaw dropping solo. Both are a blast to watch!  Thanks H..I mean Bogie....and what college basketball team games do you NOT want  discussed?  Thanks for a great ride!   Cathy

No reason necessary to post this but I am glad you did! Yes BOGIE ROCKS!
I have to admit, I have had a time or two when I had a good angle to take a photo and got caught up in watching a drum solo and forgot what I was doing! Sorry...a few missed shots! lol

PC, I agree with you, Bogie is confused about the whole cole slaw thing...... oh well, better to be confused about the cole slaw then which foot does what on the drums!
