here in america it's all rap music . the music that you need no talent to do . it sucks and thats all the kids listen to here . they don't know what a guitar play is or a bass player all they know is a heavy drum beat and a computer pumping out a bass beat . it's the worst music i have ever hear and i grew up during the disco era and that wasn't that bad compared to this stuff atleast during the disco times the musican played there instruments now all you need is a cd skipper some pre programed beats and some rhymes and you can make a millon dollars . well i am ramblin i had about 5 jacks on the rocks while i am cooking some turkey day food so my spelling and other thing might be off but you get the point ..............enjoy joe

Re: real music

Yeah, sometimes when I turn on the radio I think this must be some kind of bad joke - is THAT supposed to be MUSIC ?!

All that rubbish - plastic - blabla - Songs from little Girls who think they´ll be the the next superstar if they take off their clothes and squeak some tones in the microphone to make it look like a "music video" ... and all that brainless supercool rappers with their diamond theeth .... aaaah! I could go on like this forever...  wink
It´s just not fair that these mostly untalented people earn more money than someone like Joe ... but that´s just the way it is!

Never ending story .....

Eva

Re: real music

I hate it when people tell me they play music but when I ask what they play they say "I make beats"- that IS NOT music!  Music is something that actually takes skill and talent to do- not some pre-programed crap off the computer.

"Interestingly, according to modern astronomers, space is finite. This is a very comforting thought-- particularly for people who can never remember where they have left things." - Woody Allen

Re: real music

Yeayh i know exactly what you mean. At my school the "music" which my friends/peers listen to is almost bad enough to make me sick. Luckily there are a couple of people i have showed Bonamassa and they say they like it and listen to it but they also listen to the other stuff aswell. I suppose it's better than nothing.

Hard to find someone my age thats as enthusiastic about real music smile

Matt, that problem seems kind of familiar to me ! smile

Re: real music

hehe, I'm just glad i know the real music exists. It's better to be alone with good music than with everyone else if your stuck with 50 cent or take that big_smile

Re: real music

Man I can't agree more.. All the music today is simply manufactured CRAP. When I seen Joe on Lbor Day for the FIRST time. I was blown away. Holy Sh*& a guy who has Talent and tons of it. You and your Daughters will have a great time at the show.. Hell, I'll give you the $$ back for the tickets if you don't. Your in for a treat, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!!!! God Speed...
