Ok folks in the UK. We know we want to hear more Joe on the Radio, well you have your chance tomorrow - Friday UK time on Radio 2 - it's all request Friday as part of the Children in Need fund raising week. all you need to do is donate money to their children in need fundraiser to get your request heard. the links are as follows

Yesterday a gent bid £100,000 for tickets to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in the "items money can't buy" auction, the tickets included meeting al the teams and lunch with the team of your choice. The whole thing was donated by Bernie Eccleston. Anyway the guy who won it, was a Sir sombody or other, who reconed he could have got in for free anyway so he passed the tickets on to the guys who bid £50,000 providing he paid what he bid, making it £150,000 raised for the two tickets - Brilliant! Somebody paid I think £82,000 for two tickets to the Led Zep gig including the rehersals the preceding day and signed memorabilia etc etc.

Last year the appeal raised £33 million!!

Dig deep to hear Joe on the radio, and make some poor kid smile!

Good one Geoff.  As my pockets weren't deep enough to bid for either the Silverstone or Led Zep tickets (£83K - yeh, in my dreams) I shall pledge something a little more modest to see hear Joe on the radio.  Fingers crossed!
