Topic: Songs I would love to hear JB make his own

We all know that Joe is a master at taking an old song and making it his own. I would love to hear him do a version of the Whipping Post, 30 minute live jam. It would be huge!!!!!!!!

What would be your dream JB cover song?

I've always wondered what his take on Dylan/Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower would be like.

Well, the night I was born

There really needs to be twin lead guitars on this song, one of them being slide guitar.

I'd go a bit further into the past and have Joe do his version of Stormy Weather smile

If wine and pills were hundred dollar bills
I might keep you satisfied

Re: Songs I would love to hear JB make his own

I've said it for years, my choice isn't some face melting, shred fest (although those songs are really great from time to time) but I've always wanted to hear Joe take it down a few notches and play Riviera Paradise by SRV... such a beautiful, heartfelt song and I think he's one of the only guitarists who would do it justice
