Topic: Solo Tone on My Mistake and Unbroken

Hey all- I posted this under the main forum in my SILT topic but thought this question might be better suited for here...

Does anyone know what Joe used to get that solo tone in My Mistake and Unbroken?  It's absolutely amazing- one of the coolest tones Joe's ever gotten- some pretty good solos too!  I love that run right in the middle of the solo on Unbroken- brings a smile to my face every time!

Well I'm not sure...but I think he played the Clapton Strat with the silver jubillee.

Re: Solo Tone on My Mistake and Unbroken

Im pretty sure there is some chorus or delay in there.  Does that help?  smile

Re: Solo Tone on My Mistake and Unbroken

Yeah there might be a bit of both in there- I just can't tell... it almost sounds like a semi-fuzz pedal in there... its really confusing me now!

I'm fairly sure he uses the TC chorus pedal to tighten up the bottom end a bit. and it's obviously a strat...
