The UK tour hopefully will go ahead but it’s too early to say what measures will be in force by late April, if I was a betting man then I’d say the odds are again it.
Perhaps the studio album could be released early instead.
Lester..
Not cancelling the Euro tour would be crazy.
hope this nightmare and insanity will be over soon and no cancellations will be needed. Summer is coming!
I would be surprised if the Euro tour goes on. Europe is in dire straits now.
Rick
Already in key European countries, borders are closed and social gatherings are restricted 500, 100 even 5 country by country. Just monitoring the score, over the week-end Joanne Shaw Taylor and Samantha Fish have curtailed their tours, presumably to get back to the US before Trump stopped flights. I've also seen that Mike Zito and Ryan McGarvey have scratched their upcoming tours, partly due to their own health worries and partly because border closures between countries in Europe are making tours untenable for at least the next 4 weeks, maybe longer.
In the UK, so far, there are no restrictions on gigs, pubs and clubs; major football events were cancelled, but that was down to the FA as other major sporting fixtures still went ahead.
Guess all we can do is just wait it out,
Scary....nothing else matters but containing this monster.
Well, we’re at the “advisory measures” level now. Everyone should avoid gatherings and crowded places, such as pubs, clubs and theatres. Theatres and music venues around the UK, including the National Theatre, London Palladium and Royal Opera House, have announced they are to close from last night until further notice. Pubs, theatres and music venues have expressed anger about the impact of the government’s new guidance on their businesses. Many have been critical that the prime minister advised people to stay away from social venues while not forcing premises to close, which could have given them financial protection.
Edit - Just been announced, major cinema chains are to close their doors from tomorrow (Wed 18th).
In my region, so far Gateshead Sage (are yo looking in, Joe B?), Stockton Arc. Yarm's Princess Alexandra Auditorium & Darlington Hippodrome have closed up for the duration. Newcastle Theatre Royal closed until April 12th (provisionally).
Something else to consider; please take time to read...

Greetings from Manchester, UK
Just remembered a rock song called "Let the Day Begin" from way back...……….
A song dedicated to the emergency services and those on the front line.
So inspiring in these sad times. Would love to see it circulate. (Not up to speed with all the social media - can you help?)
Track: Let the Day Begin
Artist: Michael Been AKA The Call
Album: The Best of The Call
Lyrics eg...……..
Here's to the doctors and their healing work
Here's to the loved ones in their care
Here's to the strangers on the street tonight
Here's to the lonely everywhere
Here's to the teachers in the crowded rooms
Here's to the workers in the fields
Here's to the traveller on the open road...…….
Here's to the drivers at the wheel...….
Here's to you my little loves with blessings from above
Now let the day begin...…………..
Take care JB fans
Illinois where I live has a place in home.
Only can go out for essentials.
So just going to ride it out.
Gives me a much needed chance to do some house cleaning.
Hope all in our bonafamily is safe from the virus.
Full lockdown in San Diego. Vital businesses and services only open. Of course, a good number got cabin fever and decided to go out as we always do here. It was a nice sunny Spring day and the beaches and parks were packed. The city asked nicely, then closed all parks, then barricaded park and beach parking lots yesterday afternoon, telling people they could go to the beach but had to maintain individual separation. That lasted a half day. The beaches and parks are shut down 100% with police and lifeguard enforcement. Sigh, the carefree populace don’t get it, but the hints are strong. They’ll get stronger I fear, until compliance is jammed down their collective throats by force.
Glad I got insurance for the mid April Beth Hart gig at Humphreys with the room/dinner package. That’s not happening.
I really feel bad for our entertainers. A friend suggested taking the budget you’d spend at clubs and check in on one of your favorite bands, they all are streaming live for tips, and make a donation after the show.
Stay in my friends. Hang tough and we’ll beat this monster.
Much Love
Rick.
