Re: The New Album - "Different Shades Of Blue" - Sept. 22nd Release

I can't believe it's been 5 years.  Resurrecting this thread because the other day I put on DSOB and listened all the way through for the first time in quite a while. Usually I keep the top couple songs from each album in a workout/commute playlist.  Anyways, it's always fun to go back to an album you haven't listened to in a while, to see how it holds up.

What a great record through and through.  I liked it a lot when it came out, and upon further review it's held up really well.  I might even like it more now!  Songs like Trouble Town I didn't really dig when it first came out sound great to my ears now.

Definitely a top 5 JB album.

I agree and it is interesting  on a revisit after a long time without a listen. You can get a different vibe sometime on a song you were  only lukewarm on

Your rock candy baby
Your hard sweet and sticky

Love this album! One of my top favorite Joe songs is on it: Get Back My Tomorrow. Also woke up today with this song playing in my head: Heartache Follows Wherever I Go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpZuV8hJDQ8 - love, love, love it!
