Topic: Rochester, NY ~ July 7th Show???

Hey Joe...

Any info on the July 7th show in Rochester?  Is this gonna be part of "Bands on the Bricks"?  I couldn't find out anything more than that on the website link.  No mention of you (or any specific band) there.   The wife & I were planning on driving out to catch the show (a nice warm-up for the August Turning Stone show), & want to get the best seats possible.

Cool-- another trip to Rochester this year.  Does anyone know if this is the same place/concert series at which he played the same night as Duarte in August 2004?  Had anyone gone to that one?  I was not able to make that trip, but I remember it from the tour schedule.  I won't miss this one, though!

Just called & was told this is a FREE show.  Also told that they have been getting calls from a bunch of people from far away from Rochester (I only have about a 2 hour drive each way ~ I'm assuming they meant people from farther away than this).  I wasn't able to find out how many people this event can handle.  My suggestion is to get there early or be sorry.  If anyone has any further info, please post it up.

Anybody out there planning on attending this show?  Me & the wife will DEAFinitely be there.  A nice warm-up for the August Turning Stone show.  Can't wait to see the new line-up & new songs.  smile

Well, I can die a happy man. I finally got to see Joe in an open air concert smile The sound was great. Loved Joe's interaction with the crowd. Thought "Asking Around for You" was better live. Loved that black Gibson ES-355 Joe used.

What a wonderful show!  The weather was primo and of course, so were Joe, Mark, and Bogie.  David, it was very nice to meet you after all this time!  Well, off to the beach.  Can't wait til next Wednesday!

I'll 2nd that!  Got to get all 3 of them sign both of my "You & Me" CDs (the import & the US release).  Nice guys, Mark & Bogie! cool  Gr8 addition to Joe&Co. 

I thought last night's show was more "fun" than the last couple of shows I've seen over the last couple of years.  The new band has an entirely different vibe going that is hard to beat.  Love the new energy, jams, & interactions.  Can't wait for the August 17th show!!! 

I also got Joe to autograph a couple extra "You & Me" CDs that I'm giving to another huge JoeB fan & his friend, who appears to appreciate JoeB too.  Gotta help build the base, spread the word, & cool Bonabaptize cool the world, even if it's just one fan at a time.
