The fine folks at JB Adventures sent me an email a few weeks ago to advise me that my guitar would be shipping soon so I could plan to be around to sign for it. Thanks for the heads up!
It arrived in perfect condition. I cannot find any flaws with the fit or finish. The setup needed a couple of easy tweaks, specifically I lowered the neck pickup slightly to get a better tone and balance, and lowered the bridge a bit to get a more comfy action. The Epi "ProBuckers" are fine pickups and do not need to be replaced as long as you're happy with a low/mid output PAF style pickup. The guitar also comes with a "Vibromate String Spoiler" already attached which will make changing strings a breeze despite the Bigsby trem. The case is also awesome as it has heavy duty latches and stitchwork.
I didn't have a big body ES style guitar in my collection so this model is a very welcome addition. Of course the included JB blue leather strap and "meet and greet" certificate are also very welcome additions to the package too.
I tip my hat to everyone who had a hand in developing this JB sig model. It has joined Amos - the only other Epi I own. Prior to JB's Epi branded sigs I was a snob who didn't give any Epi (or any Chinese made guitar for that matter) a chance.
