Sloe Gin # 1 again (Page 2 of 3)

My well deserved congratulations to you!!!!

Sloe Gin is a brilliant album!  Why? Because it is one of those album which get better everytime you listen to it. Many albums are great the first time you listen to it but the more you listen to them, the more you get bored.
I had that with all U2, many Gary Moore (because of his singing) albums: never play them anymore.

The real musical treasure open after a while, like  Allman Brothers, Litte Feat, JJ Cale . Sloe Gin has the same, the song itself will become a classic. Mind my words. 
                 
I told my wife that when I will die, hopefully in a very long time: Sloe Gin must be played at my funeral!! I hope you Joe, will do it live for one of your truly fans!!! I'm much older than you so there is a chance!!!

Joe, you kept our prediction, mine and my friends Rudi and Johan. We three saw you the first time in Duiven November 19th 2004. We said this is a treasure, he will be famous in the future, he is so good. And look: It is going to be that way.

I have a question for you Joe, maybe this is not the right place. I work at a school in Winterswijk , pupils age 12 till 19. We have 1350 pupils, so it must be possible to get a group for you. It is not far from Hardenberg where you perform on Firday March 13th. That Friday would be perfect.. Is it possible to do a bluescollege at our school?? First one in Europe, newspaper, I try radio, Dutch TV to give it more impact for you. Please let me know if you are interested.
I know it is a bit impudent but it would me awesome.

YEAH YEA RECORD NUMBER 1, whatever.  That is like saying the sky is blue, or water is wet.  Joe Bona-somebody or other put out ANOTHER number 1 record.  sigh.

Its like saying Micheal Jordan was going to take the last shot.

Of course its number one.

I say this...eat more vegetables.  Drink more water.  And work with your trainer to prevent carpal tunel.

The fact is these people want to be your fan for 100 years, and you need to buy a scarf, a stocking cap, take vitamin c, and stay healthy.

And I think you need to wear a seatbelt.

And buy a PSP for the road.

It is a Truly Fine Damn Album and Worthy of The Top Spot for all Those and Numerous Weeks to Come , It is Still Growing in Stature the More you Play it and Get into it ....... I can't speak for EVERYONE, but I can say that you sure spoke for me Stu.  18 years ago I KNEW it was going to happen, I just never expected it to take so long.  How many people are just getting exposed to Joe's talents & will marvel at his instant success?  It's been a long, hard road, and Joe deserves all the accolades he's receiving.

One thumb way up with a goofy smile and a big thanks, Sir, for picking up this inter-galactical hitch hiker!  No need to drop me off Around the Bend.  If it's OK with you , I'd like to keep riding along...Who knows what we can experience together bending that time / space continuum just a liiiittttttttttllllle more backwards or forwards or sideways, or...anyways!!! If you accept requests, can you get us up to 88 mph???

Very happy to hear that your CD is #1 again.  Joe's music is the only music on my Ipod.  I listen to my Ipod while working out at the gym.  Good music to listen to while doing cardio.

Hey Joe, I still sign off on my e-mails that "sloe gin" is the number one album in the country, so I'm thinking your getting some good karma from alot of us!
