Storyville Mob

Just wanted to bring the forum's attention to a new(ish) band we've been kicking around on another forum, not a million miles away from here; Storyville Mob, from N. Wales (not to be confused with Storyville from Austin TX, but if it's a favourable comparison, they'll take it.....)

They are piano driven, with raw guitar and punchy rhythm section but with a more melancholic than raucous sound; one friend has likened them in some ways to Elbow. 19th May - The Moveable Feast @ Slate Museum, Llanberis
25th May - Albert's Shed, Shrewsbury
26th May - LLanrwst Rising @ Ancaster Square, Llanrwst
15th June - The Castle; Abergele
23rd June - Zipworld Rocks @ Penrhyn Quarry
4th Aug - The Alex; Penmaenmawr

A quick word with the band, and the look to be doing some more studio time in the next couple of months to lay down some new singles and boost radio play and gain more national interest.
