Looking forward to Carlisle with that set ! Can see people being confused by the new stuff, especially if Joe doesn't speak for the first 5 or 6 tracks, something  that sometimes winds me up,but-less chat, more music ! Hey-ho.

Come on you Blades!

Re: Europe Spring Tour 2018

Aberdeen - 13 March. First time back since 2013 although Joe kept saying 8/9 years. Sound was perfect this time.

Think we got an extra song but not sure but The Hunter was added to How many more times. What a great way to end the show with a full on rock performance from the 4 main men. What a great band all round and a highlight for me was Joe going off the scale with his solo on No good place for the lonely. Started with 4 new songs but I wasn't keen on the first 2 but I am sure they will sound great on the new album due in September.

Joe pulled 3,500 last time he was here but only about 2,000 last night - it was a bit daunting to see rows and rows of empty seats. A lot of "fans" voted with their wallet unfortunately. And I know a few of them. Nevertheless the crowd were very receptive and enjoyed themselves.

Thank you for the review Kenny! Always interesting to hear first hand opinion from a forum member. Glad you had a great time!

Thanks Kenny.
Sounds like you had a good time.
Shame about the empty seats, there are quite a few not sold for Brighton as well.

Re: Europe Spring Tour 2018

I just checked Brighton a lot more available today .

Last time I looked it was almost sold out . Price of £88 plus booking for some .

I took a coach two years ago for £45 inc booking .

No interest from the same people at over £75 .

So many tickets are just too expensive

Re: Europe Spring Tour 2018

Was at Manchester Arena on Saturday. An excellent gig as always, the new songs slotted in well but I think he should of split them up between the more familiar songs in the set.
Had a £65 ticket for block 209 upper level and was upgraded to lower level block 108, which were £89 seats. I asked why and was told only 4000 tickets were sold out of a 15000 seat venue. Many fans have been priced out of attending, I know of 4 friends who didn't go because of this.
