Topic: Stanley Jordan

Kind of surprised that Stanley Jordan has never been discussed on the forum. We saw him when we were in California for Joe's shows. He was opening for Robben Ford. Stanley Jordan has been around for a long time and his incredibly unique style of playing with both hands on the neck of the guitar is not only interesting to watch but quite amazing to listen to. He plays mostly instrumentals, even performed a piano concerto on the guitar, but he also sang a few songs as well. Was a treat to hear Arlo Guthrie's "City of New Orleans" Haven't heard that song in a long time.
