Indeed, one of the premier songwriters, vocalist and guitarist worldwide for many years now. I was a Big Wreck fanatic way back when they were just another band in the 90s that got a lot of play on alt-rock stations, not sure what you posted but I listen to it anyways ........ Blown Wide Open is one of his earliest masterpieces, great slide player too

Love the guitar playing and he possesses great vocal ability. On his more recent acoustic album he reminds me very much of Dave Mason.
