Topic: Gary Hoey's "Dust & Bones" tour...

Just got back from Gary Hoey's Lowell, MA concert last night. Promoting his new (available in late July I believe) "Dust & Bones" blues/rock album. Amazing show! Would love to see Joe's band and Gary's band playing the Syracuse NY lakeview amphitheater together to show CNY what the blues is all about! Come back home Joe & bring Gary with you.

Good to see you again Ron.

Good to see you also. cd out July 29 go to http://garyhoey.com to preorder. every tune is killer. Reminds me when I was a kid when I would get a new 8track of my favorite artist and play the thing until
I wore the tape out. Garys new cd "Dust and Bones" is that good.
The show was killer. Joe and Gary will be in the same place very soon. STAY TUNEd

Great seeing that Gary Hoey Band has been added to the cruise! I think cruisers are gonna like his flavors of the blues.

Just saw the band perform last night in Hartford CT and they killed it. Always put on a great show. Wish I could have done this cruise.

New album is an amazing blues/rock album!  http://myglobalmind.com/2016/08/21/gary … es-review/

Re: Gary Hoey's "Dust & Bones" tour...

(adding to this old thread instead of starting a new one since it's still supporting his last album, Dust and Bones...)

I just saw Gary at Chans in RI. I've seen a fair number of shows here, and two consistent standouts among them have been Albert Cummings and Samantha Fish. Not that it's a contest, but Gary's show is now the best show I've seen there.

Chans is a small venue and a small stage, and not at all fancy. But what struck me right off was how genuinely happy he seemed to be on stage playing, and he had great rapport with the audience. His Tom Petty medley was a special treat, as were two covers. Lunatic Fringe and All Along The Watchtower.
