Topic: Finding some very rare stuff...

I'm looking for some aerosol Fender Guitar Polish. It's not the pump stuff. I think it was sold in the 80's. I'm looking for it because it had a smell that I haven't found in other guitar polishes. Sort of like a clean wooden church oil smell. If anyone has strategies, or if JB has one he'd sell me big_smile I'd appreciate it!

Yes remember that well ,along with the Gibson aerosol ones.....you're right they did smell different than todays products

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

The smell and how it wiped off almost effortlessly was so unique. I emailed Fender if they had the patent # or the recipe, and they were shrugging their shoulders at the question hmm That "vintage guitar smell" is not gone forever I'm afraid.
