Topic: Man this is easy!

I'm sure this has been brought up at one time or 50! Has Joe ever played any other instruments, and what were they? We know he's going to India next year, I wunder if he looks for a "sitar" to bring back, I'm thinking why not? I'll give him 3 months to "understand" the instrument, all right make it a year.

Yeah, but I'm just looking for some thing a little more obscure that he has picked up. I want to him go "Charlie Daniels", so I can hear some  "fire on the mountain", cuz  "he's the best that ever is"....lol

He better not use one in SF, there's a law out here: Use an accordian, go to jail!!!

Whew! Had me worried there J Dawg!  Then I remembered the letter of the law and Joe will be performing a cover version of Pablo Cruise's "Whatcha Gonna Do?"on the accordion, not the accordian.  They can't bust him for that!

Good point! My bad though and I don't think the SF PD has spell check either.

Re: Man this is easy!

Rocket,

I should explain this so called law. About twenty-some years ago some accordion fanatics wanted to start an annual accordion festival on the wharf. S.F. is known as the birthplace of psychedelic rock, the summer of love, light shows, etc. So a grass roots campaign arose to stop all the accordion nonsense, everybody knows it's a Wisconsin thing anyhow, and the buzz phrase, "Use an accordion, go to jail", came about. It still lives on as an urban myth/legend.

I like your avatar pic of Kahlil Green, the shortstop for the Padres, right???? If you don't know what I'm talkin' about then Google Kahlil's name and find some pix of him.
