Re: Bona-Trivia
OK, I'll try and come up with something suitable.
In the mean time if anybody else has something to offer, feel free to post.

Who said of Joe...
"I only play rhythm and sing.....Joe is the soloist and he's sensational".
And as a follow up... Which 'named' guitar was Joe playing at the time?
Lester...
The quote was from Waylon Kreiger, and the named guitar Joe played at the time was named,.......uh,..."Lucinda?!"
Rock ON & Keep The Faith,

Not the answers I am looking for. Sorry!

Spot on Jane.
Joe was guesting on Bernie Marsden's "Shine" album and he was indeed using the Gibson 59 Beast (on loan from Bernie).

How many years have Joe and Roy been working together?
I suppose 27 years.
Some time ago I read that there is one special guitarist who plays ( in Joe`s opinion) at the same level or even higher
Who is it???

So I guess he answered the trivia question by himself ( or by whoever manages this site for him) - Eric Gales.

Gave a listen to this Eric - really nice. Liked him a lot. But still think Joe is the best and the Only.
( Its like my friend dragging me to Tommy Emmanuel concert in his attempt to prove that somebody is better. Hmmm... I felt like at the circus performance. Jaw-dropping - yes. Fascinating - yes. Soul, mind and body touching - no. )
I'm gonna say Josh Smith since Joe said once that Josh was the only man he feared with a guitar....

Exactly, pat6put6man! No wonder: Josh began playing in the age of 4. I had the luck to enjoy two times in Muddy`s Blues Club in Weinheim, but Joe is and remains my number 1 by far. He`s the one and only upcoming guitar god lol ...

It`s your turn, pat6put6man!
I cede my time to someone (anyone) who knows more than I.....but I love Josh....He and Kirk should be a fixture on the KTBA cruise....so, someone take a shot at a question....
ok according to Joe in that interview from a month ago or so 26 years
annaforjoe - got any trivia questions for us? anyone else?
Here's some odd ones.
In song, what is the largest shoe size he's claimed?
At the start of the 2004 tour. Joe had upgraded to a proper bus. What famous band had the bus driver been escorting for years prior?
Couple more to ponder.
What was the hammer price at the Clapton benefit auction fot Joe's Goldie?
Which Wisconsin city is Joe's grandma from? (Digging in to obsure fandom).
Sorry, need to clarify alittle more.
At the start of the 2004 tour. Joe had upgraded to a large RV and ditched the old white van. What famous band had the RV driver been escorting for years prior?
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your trivia party. Signed, Bonagump
I never have good trivia questions to offer, but I will get the responses started with the obvious answer that gets me every time when I am driving. That is Sloe Gin. I will have to think more about what the other one is.
