Topic: Paramount Theatre Cedar Rapids, Iowa August 26th

Music Lovers:

We are very stoked to have Joe return to Cedar Rapids almost 13 years to-the-day!.  His one and only previous performance here was on August 7, 2004, where I first heard him play!

Joe headlined the Bluesmore Festival at the Brucemore Mansion.  Also performing that day was Melvin Taylor & Jessie Payo.

Sadly, the Bluesmore Festival is no longer celebrated as of 2013.  Set List on that awesome day:

Your post is so touching. To hear from truest and most dedicated fans of his magnificent talent is priceless. Wish I was there back then. ( Had to cry today - adore it )

Thanks Jane.  Pain and sorrow was amazing as was a soaring Mountain Time, fairly new to the set list at the time and my personal favorite.  You are correct that KUNI / 88.3 / Cedar Falls recorded Joe's set and lovingly re-broadcast it the following afternoon Sunday, August 8, 2004.
