Topic: Direct substitute tuners

Hey fellow gearheads!!!

Question for all of you.

I have a 2009 R8 Gibson Les Paul.  one of the Gibson Deluxe tuners is becoming loose not from the headstock but loose as you tune the strings.

I want to replace them with either Kluson or Grover tuners but I want to replace the Gibson Deluxe with one of those so that I don't have to redrill or make any alterations to my guitar....a direct replacement...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Barry

I thought I was emailing Kluson but I got a response from WD Music Products....What they had isn't what I was looking for...so I can use some other options....

Thanks again Rusty!!!

Re: Direct substitute tuners

You in the UK or US or elsewhere?

I broke a tuner on my LP and replaced them all with Grovers, so if you're in the UK would be happy to post you one of the unused Gibson Deluxe tuners if that's of any use...

Guitars: Fender American Original 60s Strat, Fender American Vintage 52 Tele, Gibson Les Paul Traditional
FX: Various including - Ceriatone Centura, Fire Custom Shop Carpe Diem
Amp: Fender ML212 Deville + 212 extention cabinet
