Limited edition pins (Page 1 of 2)

Here's an interesting topic to bring up....

Why do the limited ones vary in the number produced? Just reading from the store page here's a rundown of them.

2014 Inaugural JB Gold Pick Pin - Only 500 Made
2014 Always On The Road Gold Tour Pin – Only 500 Made
2015 "Happy Blues Year" Pin - No number size listed but sold out pretty quick and never restocked
2015 Freedom to Blues Pin - Only 100 Made
2016 "Happy Blues Year" Pin - Only 100 Made
2016 Guitar Pin Collection: Series One - 1000 made
2016 Firebird Pin - Gold - Only 100 Made
2017 "Happy Blues Year" Pin - Only 200 pieces available, each sequentially numbered

With the "Freedom to Blues Pin" only so many were sold by themselves, the others were sold with a T-Shirt (I had to get the T-Shirt because I missed out on the pin by itself)
The only limited pin I've seen come up on eBay was the Inaugural JB Gold Pick... It sold for 50.00! (Hopefully to one of us)
The Guitar Pin Collection: Series One is listed under the "Home and Office" category and is still available even though the case sold
out very quick. (Nothing special about the case, it can be order from the manufacture)
It seems the most sought after (on these forums anyway) is the 2016 "Happy Blues Year"
There is NO time frame of the month for when they are released!!!! One month in 2016 was even skipped.
