Topic: Amp advice...?

Here is my situation...

I'm no longer hitting the larger clubs / venues (retired from that :-) ) but I'm still playing at local Blues/Rock jams and small pub.  I've sold my high gain heads, cabs and few "shred guitars".

I have a plan to go back to basics.  In other words small combo amp(s), a few pedals and my guitars (LP, 355, Tele and Strat).

I'm very fortunate that having sold so much kit, I have a very healthy pot of $$$s and I want to start my search for one or two amps I can use to cover my blues and rock needs.

I've got in mind a Fender 57 Custom Deluxe and a Marshall 1974x both with Swart Night Light to lower the dBs for home late night practice.  However, given I am semi retired I don't want to be flipping amps in the near future, so my choice of amp needs to be sustanable and right.

If you were in my position which amps would you advising me to go and play?

PS:  They need to be available in the UK and Europe.

I do not hesitate in recommending a Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb. I bought one a couple if years ago for playing Blues and Classic Rock. It has great natural overdrive tones once you get the volume above 5 on the dial. You can also use pedals to increase the drive or bring it on a lower volumes.

Many people say all you need is a Tubescreamer but a lot of  overdrive pedals works well with it. I use a Free The Tone MS-SOV and a Mad Professor Royal Blue. That setup works with single coils, humbuckers, mini humbuckers and P-90s. It is an amazing amp.

The Fender Custom 57 Deluxe looks and sounds a fabulous amp, wouldn't mind one myself.
I've played a 1974, very good for classic Marshall sound when cranked.
How about the new Marshall Jubilee combo...? I have the head and finding it quite versatile. You know what you're going to get when cranked but if you back the gain back for a more bluesy tone it cleans up nicely when guitar volume backed off...
