Topic: Joe's Treasure Epiphone Firebird

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere already, but I thought it would be fun to post reviews, pics, and thoughts about the new release of Joe's new signature model...

I'd go first, but I'll have to wait until this Thursday for UPS to deliver mine! smile

I ordered the Sunburst, but see someone posted on another site a picture of the polymist gold he received today, and the polymist gold is absolutely stunning!

Yeah, tonight is dragging, tomorrow will drag, and Thursday until UPS rings my bell, will be torture! Lol!  It's gonna be bouncing around New Orleans uneven streets by a UPS truck and driver that has no idea what's inside the box!  What could possibly go wrong?!?

Very nice! .. Was going to joke "at least its a slow week for UPS" ... but that's cruel (but I guess I just did)  ... you don't need the added stress stating the obvious.

Best wishes for a safe delivery.  Betting all will go well and will be thinking about it.

Re: Joe's Treasure Epiphone Firebird

Well, I got my "Treasure" this past Thursday.  I'm not trying to hype it up or anything, but this guitar just may be the finest Epiphone I've yet to play.  The watermark for me was Ace Frehley's Budokan, but this Firebird is absolutely terrific in every way.  It has a sound that I have not heard in any other guitar.  It has a Gibson warmness to it thru the clean channels, and yet, a biting, bluesy, growl, with distortion!  I went ahead and ordered Joe's hardshell case.  I know own all his Epi's... The Pelham blue LP, GT, and Inverness green as well as this firebird!

This firebird is really special though.  From what I understand, they were limited to 600 Tobacco Sunburst and 1000 gold polymist!  If anyone can confirm this, I'd really appreciate it!
