Topic: Hired Gun - Movie Documentary

Heard about this film during Eddie Trunk's daily show on SiriusXM's new all talk (about) music channel - "Volume" Ch106 - last night.

I was actually hoping to catch a re-broadcast of Joe and Glenn's sit down with him earlier in the week that I missed (and try to somehow capture it for us.) No luck ... different show / guests.

Eddie mentioned he just attended a screening of this film the night before ... didn't say when it may see the light of day ... gave it a good review.  An interesting topic indeed.

Very cool. I see there are already full movie links on YT. Will definately check it out.

On music movies I caught 'Whiplash' yesterday on Amazon. Some stirring performances. I thought I had had some psychotic tutors, but 'Fletcher' in Whiplash is waaaaaay out there.

I'm guessing ... but I don't think they show the movie ... I did click on one ... The YT Video instructs you to type in a web address to see the movie ... so I moved on!  Guessing it's like those "Live Concert Streaming" links that you now see going up. (?)

Whiplash has been on my watch list for so long!! ... (and I used to "try" and play the drums ... had I only had an instructor like I hear J.K. Simmons portrays!! big_smile) ... thanks for the nudge reminder ... gonna do so soon now.

Noooo! Simmons' character would have reduced 99% of his special students to basket cases. The other 1% probably tried to murder him.
