The kid has hit 4 homers and 11 RBI's in the two games against the Dodgers. Not a bad way to launch a ML career.  big_smile

It took my Giants 2 games to get him out last week....looks like you guys have a keeper....just don't lose him in free agency to the Dodgers..

They had better lock him up tight. Who knows with the shenanigans going on in the management? This has been a year to forget with a string of bad luck and injuries to boot. I feel sorry for the poor manager who has done what he could with the dregs.
The Dodgers finally gave up and tossed Hunter a bunch of junk. Fast balls and the damage is going to be done. Not a bad fielder, though it's a work in progress.

Hope your right about the final but Bum is never going to hit 100mph on the gun...I must admit that I gave up on the Giants a few weeks ago but they finished like champs and now is their time of year....another even year championship is dangling out there, we have to grab it and hang on....

After rereading your post I realize you meant MadBum was going to plant one of those 100mph fastballs in the bleachers...my bad...

Classic pitcher's duel last night; Bumgarner V Syndergaard.  So, are the Giants going to go all the way again on a Wild Card pass, or have the Cubs still got their momentum going.

Hey, to paraphrase a saying we have in the UK, if the teams I support fell any lower in their Divisions, they'd be playing in Mexico. That doesn't stop me enjoying a good knicker-gripper of a game (or series) though.

I've been a life long Giants fan but if the G's don't go all the way I would love to see the Cubs break their loooonnnnnngggggggg streak....I backed the Giants for 52 years before they finally won it all so I sort of know what you Cub fans are going through...too bad they have to face each other but I have to root for my Giants....Cleveland wouldn't be bad to see in the series either....
