Ryan McGarvey @ The Sage, Gateshead

Saw Ryan play last night here in the UK. Another blistering set of high energy blues mixed in with some very soulful playing. A welcome addition to the line-up is the legendary Carmine Rojas. He gives Ryan's songs extra depth, his bass lines are just sublime. That's the second time he's played The Sage (Sage Two - club type venue). How he doesn't sell this place out I will never know, a superb talent who is only going to get better and better...
