Got my Pre-Order for Live at the Greek Theatre in yesterday... To bad I won't have to time to watch until Friday, can't wait!!!

I ordered from Amazon CA (saved a ton on exchange and delivery fees), they sent me a note my delivery date is Sept 29


I thought release date was Sept 23 for North Am

I received mine here in Colorado yesterday as well.  Quite the awesome surprise.  I got the DVD/CD/Poster.  Began watching the DVD last night and then started listening to the CD's on the drive to work this morning.  Loving it all.  This was such a great show in general and definitely my favorite of the 3 tribute shows.  Has been bringing back great memories of seeing the show at Red Rocks.  I am so glad the legal stuff all got worked out so we are finally able to have and enjoy this full release.  Seems like it has been forever waiting for it.  Any day with new Joe B music to enjoy is a great day in my book.

To those wondering, if you pre-ordered they shipped out a week early. It even stated that on the pre-order page. I was surprised mine came in that early though. Takes me forever to get my pins.

For a variety of reasons I hey-diddle-diddled around and didn't order until Monday afternoon. (I didn't get one of the "deals," either; made up my own package: CD + DVD + mug + pick tin.) It arrived today. Of course, it helps a little that this particular shipment originated from the fulfillment center in Urbandale, IA, just a couple of hours east of me...  big_smile

Oh, I will! I don't need any more hats, and I've had a run of bad luck with the t-shirts, but a coffee mug has never let me down...  big_smile

I noticed if you play this in between the Beacon Theatre cd and the Muddy Wolf cd, The Greek cd isn't quite as loud as those two.  I don't think it's a lot but I found myself turning up the volume a little on the Greek album.

I noticed when PBS was running the Greek.. that I thought the Vocals were soft and so was Joe's guitar.. heard lots of Reese

I was at the concert and i thought it was the best ive ever seen joe

Ive ordered the dvd and waiting for delivery

Im listening to the cd on spotify and overall its very good but the female backing singers are well down the mix which is a crime really and joe never speaks at all!

Quibbles aside im enjoying it and it takes me back to a typical californian evening in august last year which in not so sunny uk im definately missing!

If anyone hasn't picked up the vinyl but are thinking about it,  they have outdone themselves with the packaging. The 4 lp set comes in an awesome slipcover box. The lps are stored in a flip cover like book. Haven't got a chance to spin them but I'm really digging the presentation.

Thanks for your post on the Vinyl.  A couple weeks ago I stumbled upon a Youtube video of someone showing the packaging of his Signed copy (purchased from Joe's store) ... the video is over 16 minute in length (actually haven't watched it all yet ... must be in depth.)

I kinda chuckled at his comment at the 7:50 mark (because he mentions he has other Joe releases) ... looks like some additional Bio's may need to be printed on the liner notes of Joe's next release!! smile
