Topic: Question on music downloads offered on this site

Does anyone know the format or quality of song downloads from this site?  I never download them because I figure they are less than CD quality.  Am I missing the boat?

Not sure if you are talking about downloading from the store or the "free" songs that are offered on the website.

The "free" songs will put adware on your computer, not a massive problem but something to consider.

That's what I figured.  I'll pass.  Appreciate the info.

That has certainly not been my experience, and I've snagged every free song that has come down the pike. Has anyone else experienced the "adware" problem?

From my experience on the free songs Joe blasts out, they usually want your email address so they can send Joe spam often.

I've never seen Spyware in the downloads

As for CD quality vs mp3 320kbps, doubt if many could hear the difference

Doug is correct, it is e-mail spam rather than anything more sinister.
Never was much good with computer terminology!

Yeah I have heard that before, that most people can't hear the difference.  I used to put CD's in my ITunes library and then burn them to disc but noticed the difference.  Now I burn my discs to the iTunes library in Apple Lossless audio format.  Takes about 3 times the space but the quality is much closer to CD quality.  Another few years of live concerts and I'll probably not be able to hear the difference though!
