Damn Paul, you didnt waste any time celebrating...lol...seriously congrats to you and all Red Sox fans, very tough to win it all. MVP Mike Lowell born in Puerto Rico and a cancer survivor, I feel a close connection in some odd way! Hey, enjoy the night and DEFINETLY call in sick tommorrow, these moments dont happen that often. For me I get a "time out" for a little while, the other major sports dont come into play until playoff time for them.

Hey Paul,
Enjoy the ride....what a fun place to live and this is the icing on the cake and just think, you could be celebrating again in the super bowl!!! I'm glad I don't gamble, I never would have predicted that the Rockies would have been swept with the way they were playing.

Not to take anything away from the Red Sox, but 8 day layoffs tend to be momentum killers.
And before the Red Sox Nation takes offense, I am NOT a Rockies fan.

Congrats JB Rules, I felt a little better about the Indians after you guys swept the Rockies, at least we took 3 games in our series. Being a Giants fan when it comes to my local scene, I see the Rockies play a lot here and away and it was shocking to see them get to the series. The National League West is about the weakest division in baseball lately. Save some for the Superbowl dude.

Thx J Dawg , Ya before the series started my friend says to me "You know why the Red Sox are gonna win the World Series?" Before I can respond he says "cause their playing the National League"
The American League has definetley excelled in inter-league play and all-star games in the past decade or so
The Big Papi --Youkaliss switch ended up workin out and how bout DiceK with an RBI single, I'm really liking this Jacoby Ellsbury think he's gonna be great. They have to resign Mike Lowell. $%#!@# A-Rod and I also wouldn't mind seeing Schilling come back for 1 more year.
The Patriots are expected to win another SuperBowl , which we all know is no easy feat. If the Celtics and Bruins can get on the bandwagon this could get serious ........... Shred , I took your advice and banged in today my head needed it ..I'll face the music tomorrow

I heard on our sports talk radio station the other morning that Youkilis' brother owns a restaurant in SF south of Market St. called Mavericks and he's throwing his engagement party there in the near future. Jon Miller was doing the radio call on ESPN Radio and mentioned the restaurant during one of his broadcasts, so Youkilis decided to invite big Jon since he lives here. Miller responded by saying he feels like part of the Red Sox Nation family now. After Miller mentioned the restaurant the west coast Sox fans filled the joint for the rest of the series games.
